Danske Spil extends OpenBet partnership for the third time following successful 11-year alliance

Danish state-owned betting and gaming operator implements OpenBet’s Managed Trading Service

June 18, 2024 - OpenBet, a leading platform, content and services provider to the global betting and gaming industry, has announced the extension of its long-term collaboration with Danish national lottery Danske Spil.

The new agreement marks an extension of Danske Spil’s partnership with OpenBet, a relationship spanning over 11 years. OpenBet will continue to elevate the operator's omnichannel sports betting platform, utilising its comprehensive suite of cutting-edge technology and trading content.

As part of the new agreement, Danske Spil transitioned their trading and risk management to OpenBet’s Managed Trading Services (MTS), securing high quality dedicated 24/7 global coverage for its sportsbook offering. The expanded agreement also includes OpenBet’s Trading System with a Self-Trade functionality for football, powering Danske Spil with a wide range of sportsbook content and delivering improved flexibility and control to its operations.

This new deal endorses OpenBet's standing as the trusted partner for World Lottery Association (WLA) members worldwide, with its leading sports betting technology, content, and regulatory compliance tools currently live with 18 WLA members.
